As well as offering up to the minute CCTV capabilities, G4Tec’s Symmetry Video solution

and have a networked approach to your facilities security. Symmetry supports both
analogue and digital technologies so gradually updating to the latest security technology
couldn’t be easier. Also, through offering advanced security features, such as 128-bit
encryption via a LAN/WAN, the highest level of security and confidentiality is achieved.
Event Based Recording
Using event based recording capabilities, any events and alarms identified by the
Symmetry Security Management System trigger an alert message, which can appear as a visual
clip. This video activity can then be stored and forwarded to a storage server for
simple retrieval at a later date. Archiving of video activity can take place at
a designated time when your IT network is less busy, thus ensuring the
performance of your network isn’t compromised.
