Group 4 Technology Releases Symmetry Business Security Management System

Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, January 8, 2007 – Group 4 Technology is proud to announce the release of its new Symmetry™ Business Security Management Solution. Symmetry Business is available in two versions; Symmetry Business 16 for organisations requiring up to 16 readers and Symmetry Business 64 for larger applications requiring up to 64 readers.

Symmetry Business software can operate from a single PC, or from up to three PCs so tasks can be carried out from different locations. The system can be used on an existing network, resulting in little or no additional networking costs.

Seamlessly integrate Symmetry Business with SymmetryTM Video software and Symmetry Edge Network Video Servers (ENVS®), for a complete video and access control system. When used with the new Symmetry video products, the system provides an exceptional solution for the recording of video based access control alarms and events.

Symmetry Business Controllers

The Symmetry Business range of controllers provides distributed processing for access control. The range includes the Symmetry Business 16 M1100 (1,000 cardholders) and Business 64 M1200 (2,000 cardholder), each available in a two-reader or four-reader versions. Each controller is housed in its own hinged-lid lockable cabinet, fitted with a tamper switch and power-on indicator.
