HI SEC Offers New Edge Network Video Servers

HI SEC announces the launch of a range of new Edge Network Video Servers (ENVS^®). The ENVS works with HI SEC’s new Video Management software to provide a unique store and forward solution that saves bandwidth.  

The video servers sit at the edge of the LAN/WAN. With 80 GB of storage in the video server, activity can be stored and forwarded on demand allowing for archiving to take place at off-peak times. This provides the scalability and flexibility to meet the demands of many applications while reducing stress on the network by decreasing the amount of bandwidth required during peak operating times.

HI SEC Awarded Microsoft Gold Partner Status

HI SEC is proud to announce that it was awarded Microsoft Gold Partner Status for 2006. Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies, and have the closest working relationship with Microsoft. HI SEC France Holds Open Days Event

On May 29-31, the HI SEC office located in Rosny sous Bois, France held Open Days for its customers.

Customers from France, Belgium and Switzerland visited the new updated office that reflects the HI SEC and G4Tec colour scheme. They enjoyed presentations on the smart reader, video management software and ENVS, and the new Thorguard Management release.

HI SEC encourages an open dialogue with its customers, and the technical and customer services staff were on hand to meet the customers they speak to so often.

HI SEC welcomes Thomas Reinholdt

HI SEC, a leader in security management solutions throughout the UK and Europe, welcomes Thomas Reinholdt as the new sales and marketing engineer. Thomas is responsible for the coordination of marketing activities and the production of marketing materials such as datasheets, technical documentation, and sales support materials. He also assists the sales department with customer requests.

Thomas reports to Martin Hildebrandt, HI SEC managing director.

Thomas comes to HI SEC from OMRON, where he was a member of the support team responsible for two leading product lines, and has experience working for Jan Houlberg Instrumentation’s security business where worked in sales and training.

Thomas received his degree in Electronic Engineering in 2003, and enjoys handball, fishing and diving.
