Group 4 Technology’s (G4Tec) new Digital Symmetry™ Video solution is a powerful security management tool that seamlessly integrates with G4Tec’s Security Management System to provide a total integrated, security management system. Symmetry Video’s open platform supports multiple technologies, allowing users to easily migrate from analogue to digital technology at their own pace. Symmetry Video seamlessly integrates with intrusion, access control, visitor management, biometrics and numerous other security and building control functions to provide airports and transportation facilities with a complete security management system.

Symmetry Video Management can stop crimes in progress through its’ advanced, ‘smart’ software. The software allows personnel to configure the video system to recognise a behavior they want to identify. Security personnel are alerted immediately of an alarm, reducing the negative impact of security breaches. The technology sifts through irrelevant activity and significantly reduces costly false alarms.

As the Symmetry Video solution operates from an organisation’s own IT network, utilising IP technology, multiple sites can be effectively controlled and monitored from a central location. Incidents and alarms can even be monitored from a mobile device such as a laptop or PDA, offering ultimate security control and flexibility.

Install cameras at important locations such as ticket check-in, passenger security check-points and along airport terminals. Configure the system to sound an alarm when unattended luggage is identified.

Security administrators can view live video on up to 36 concurrent cameras per client PC on the virtual matrix. Display several screens on one monitor to view live, recorded or archived images simultaneously.
